 ? Do Arab teams suffer from arrogance? Or did those teams appear for what they really are

We were surprised by the high levels of the Arab teams in the first round of the 2022 Qatar World Cup, with the exception of Qatar, the host country.

We believed that we had reached the international level, so the stars of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia defeated the legends of Argentina, the Atlantic Lions of Morocco held out against the Croatian national team, and the Tunisian national team tied with the Danish national team, and hope and ambition increased by reaching advanced roles.

 But not all that one wishes to realize, the dream has evaporated with regard to the Qatar national team and the weakness of the position of the Tunisian national team, and the pressure increases on the Saudi national team by defeating the strong Mexico national team, and the hope for the supremacy of the Mediterranean lions and a show worthy of the history of the Moroccan national team in the World Cup, and it has players as much as Highly skilled, strong and ambitious.

The upcoming matches will witness an intense struggle for the Arab teams in order to save face or wrestle with adults, put a foot between the international teams and write history that does not remember the missed opportunities but remembers the goals, the victory and the cup.

We must look at the truth in order to stand on the levels of all Arab teams and their ability to compete with international teams, and we must acknowledge the weakness of the levels and the lack of forming integrated teams despite the high financial spending on these teams and the moral support for the players.

 Despite this, we see that the most important thing that these teams lack is ambition and defining the purpose of playing with the adults. Some teams play one match and outperform international teams ranked in the forefront, but soon the teams’ return withers, the branches and branches become slack, the roots die, and so on.
